Mergen
I went to the Compatibility search page and found pretty much every ASUS P5B series board except for the P5B-E version. Is there a reason for this? Is there an alternate board that can be used in its place on this search page? Thanks
DerekT
I just finished installing 6400C4's with no issues on this board. If you would like to talk with the fellow who owns the board and DRAM, just PM me and I will give you his messenger. He's overclocking it though. He is running the 6400C4's at 800Mhz 4-4-4-12 with 400Mhz FSB on an E6400 at 3.2Ghz.
Mergen
I may want to do that. I'll let you know if I do. The ASUS Vendors Lists shows the CM2X1024-6400PRO as a qualified RAM. I'm considering using that, with overclocking likely if things go well. I just thought it was odd that the P5B-E didn't show up on the Corsair Compatibility Tool. Thanks for the reply.
