TWINX2048-3200C2PRO Gone Bad Again

I've done everything I was told to the last time I had this issue and I've come to the conclusion this memory has gone bad again. I even went and replaced the Power supply in the computer, figuring I'm doing a future upgrade anyway so I will need it in a couple months anyway.

Still bad, so I'm going to need an RMA# please.

Heres the CPU settings for each of the 2 PCs I tested the machine in

PC 1(This is the PC the memory is mainly used in. I have swapped my old set of TWINX1024-3200C2PRO and have had no errors on memtest or any blue screens of death. Same exact settings the TWINX2048s had before they started giving issues)

AMD Athlon XP 2500+

CPU overclocked to 11 x 200 = 2.2ghz

MOtherboard A7N8X Rev 2.0

Memory at CL 2, Active Precharge Delay 6, DRAM RAS TO Cas 3, DRAM RAS Precharge 3

brand new 600watt Enermax noisetaker so I know I'm not short on power.

no performance settings turned on.

PC 2

Intel P4 2.4C ghz stock settings (12x200)

Memory at same settings as above PC.

No performance settings turned on either.

Also tried them in a PC at work, I don't have the settings for it, but it was a PC that runs stock settings, and errored out the same in memtest.

There bad, and from seeing someone else having problems with these same sticks, I'm wondering if there is a higher then average failure rate with the 2gb memory modules in the TWINX series with the LEDs.

ON AMD XP platdforms the settings should be Cas 2.5-3-3-6 and the memory voltage should be set to 2.7 Volts. And 2.75 Volts at Cas 2-3-3-6 on in Intel platform. What test are you getting errors on and what was the make and model of the Intel based MB? Also with some Intel chipset MB's you have to disable legacy USB when running http://www.memtest.org.

And no there is not a higher failur rate with 1.0 Gig modules, its less than 1/2 of 1% of what we have sold has been returned.

I have no problem replacing your modules but if you are getting errors on both modules that would suggest some other problem. and what you have posted is suggesting there might be something else, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them or it.

I have tested them individually before, both of which would give me errors, but sometimes would pass without error, but then on the 2nd pass error out.

The reason I say that I think the 2gb(2x1gb) modules have a higher failure rate is that I've never had issues with my 2x512mb modules which are the exact same specs as the 2gb kit and I've had them for over 2 years(first in the AMD rig, then moved to the intel one). I don't think there is anything wrong with my settings to cause this as I had 6 months or trouble free operation with them after I got them back from the 1st RMA. Also the 2x512mb modules have not given a single hiccup since I threw them in, and passed a nite of memtest, something the 2x1gb modules couldnt get past an hour of. I am going to throw them into my Intel Rig

The intel motherboard is an Albatron 865PE/PE Pro. Which originally was running the TWINX1024-3200C2PRO error free since I upgraded the AMD computer to the TWINX2048 a year ago.

I am running the tests again on the 865 board, just failed in dual channel with the advised settings. I am going to try testing one module at a time and I am taking screen caps with my digi cam for further help in diagnosing the problem.

Also has had no problem running 2 sticks of Corsair Value ram at same rated speeds(except for CAS being at 2.5 instead of 2)
