Could you please check status on RMA R206806?

Case #17655

 

I sent 2 sticks of ram on 01/02/07 by expedited mail and still haven't heard any word back. Just wondering when I can anticipate getting some ram back. If it's going to be a while, I might have to go out and buy some new stuff.

Yeah, I threw my email address in there for delivery confirmation. Was on hold w/ Canada Post for 35 minutes this afternoon and gave up.

 

I'll give customer support a call on monday - hopefully they can advance RMA it. Really missing my RAM!

Just called Canada Post and it's as I feared: they can't get any info on the shipment until it reaches its destination in the states. If the package isn't received by Feb 2nd, they're going to run a trace on it and begin the process of filing a claim. Ugh!

Customer Service hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time Monday Thru Friday excluding Holidays, so I am sorry but you are calling after we have closed. Did you leave your name and number with them? And I am sorry but its not here yet I just checked.

I'll have to call this week again during business hours then. I've just initiated a trace with Canada Post, who said it could take up to 30 days to complete.. and THEN they'll process a claim for a lost package. Ugh. I may just have to break down and buy more RAM in the meantime.

Well, Canada post ran the trace and it came back inconclusive. My package is officially lost. They're reimbursing me for the basic insurance amount ($100CAD) + the cost of my postage. I'm not sure what the going rate for 2 512 mb sticks of Value Select is these days. Might have to upgrade!

It might, we had a customer call us and ask if he could check an RMA from last year? Shocked at the request I asked him what the whole story was. He told us the USPS deliverd his package back to him after one year (15 months to be exact) and wanted to know if he could still get a RMA on it. The orginal RMA never got to us and I guess they just sent it back to him.
