beli ninja
Hi, is there any other way to hide or encrypt some files or folders on my Voyager? Using TrueCrypt or Corsair's software is not useful since I can't have administrator rights (I do need them to run these applications, right?) on a public PC on my college. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 18, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 18, 2007 You would have to run the applaication with a system with Admin rights and just install it to the open partition and then encrypt the files and when you use the other system run the software (http://www.truecrypt.com) from the flash drive and you should be able to see the files. beli ninja
The problem is with the college PC, it doesn't allow me to run the truecrypt.exe file from Voyager. As a temporary solution I'm compressing the sensitive files (with password protection). I know that this not a very good solution, but I don't have any other ideas right now. Thank you for your previous reply. Any other ideas?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 23, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 23, 2007 I will ask Jack Flash if he has any suggestions! EDIT: I am sorry Jack Flash says with our Admin Rights you will not be able to do what you want to do, so if you have another solution you should use it.
