hello ramguy,

i hope you can help me with the status of my rma. In the beginning of december 2006 i've send my twinx-3500llpro to corsair. 14days ago i send a mail to the rma-department with the question of the status from my rma.

they send me a mail with the answer: "Your RMA request has been processed and we have shipped your replacement. Please give 48 to 72 hours to receive your replacement." that was on 03.01.2007. my modules are still not here. last friday i send them a new mail with a new inquiry for my rma but i've got no answer up to now.

thank you for your trouble

Likewise, I sent my RMA in on 12/14/06 (Case #34757) and have yet to receive the replacement modules. Any information regarding resolution of this issue is appreciated.

Perhaps unrelated, but no answer on Corsair's main telephone line; perhaps due to the US MLK holiday?

Dear Ram Guy.

I proceed as you propose. But still no success. I send my modules in the beginning of december to corsair... this is 2 month ago. The complete december i hear nothing about the status of my rma. On January the 3rd i wrote the first inquiry to the rma-department. the answer was that my replacements are shipped and i should wait 48h or 72h. no problem, but

on january the 11th i have to write next inquiry to the rma-department cause my modules still not arrived. on january the 19th i've got the answer (8 days).

in the mail they wrote that my replacements are backordered and the modules will be shipped out to me as soon as they can. on january the 29th i send them a mail with a new inquiry cause the replacements are still not arrived. no answer up today. please can you check... whats happend?

Thank you for your trouble

You RMA was recieved and I am sorry the modules you send in are no longer in production. I have sent a message to our customer service and asked them to check into this ASAP but I would suggest you call them at 888-222-4346 Ext "0" ASAP.

Dear Ram Guy

thank you for your fast post. But that the modules i've send in are not longer available is a point i don't understand  . I think your modules have a lifetime warrenty? what happend in 10 years if i send a wrong pair ram-modules of these types to you? The next important question i have is: with what type of ram-modules you will replace the fastest an most expensive ddr-ram-module if the genuine module is not longer available? does that mean the client get a some modules of inferior quality from an lower typeclass?

By the way i've got answer from the rma-department up to now.

I will write a new mail and i hope they send me a faster response.

thank you for your trouble

They will give you some options, but the average production life of electronics is about 6-12 months. I will send them another message and ask them to send you a message ASAP, but you might want to call them at 888-222-4346 Ext "0" or 510-657-8747 Ext "0".

Dear Ram Guy

Please could you check my RMA-Status again? Wednesday last week i have called the customer-service as you said. I've told them my problems and they said that my replacements are TwinX2048-3200C2Pro. As i ask abaut the difference of the prices between both typs of modules they said i would receive a mail with my options and the shipping-date of my replacements.

I ask about the shipping-date and they said that the modules will be shipped on friday 9th or monday 12th but i could read this in the mail.

I've got no mail up to day! On Tuesday the 13th i've send the customer-service a mail with a new inquiry about the mail they would send and my RMA-Status. But also no answer and no replacements up to day :[pouts: !

thanks

yosch
