TWINX 1024-3200XL 1 module fautly (UK)

hi their RAM GUY i bought this matched pair on 23 dec 2005 just over a year ago and bout a week ago i started to get problems random crashes software not installing or uninstallin corrupt files and ao on after extensive testing it came to memory so i came on to corsiar web site and seen that people were using memtest so i downloaded it and voila 1 faulty module theese has never been overclocked 2.2.2.5 @200mhz cpu amd64 4000+ at 200mhzx12 i love theese memory modules could u plaese help :biggrin:

Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.

hi their ive done as you sayed i tested again and same problem i disabled legacy usb in bios and i tested them on my dads pc and still the same result i tested them seperatly and together one module is bad thanks will i send them what do i have to do next

You can send the mail how ever you want, but that link should be an on line forrm if you aere getting an email prompt then you might have some security setting blocking it. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! And please note that you are from the forum!
