hawk87
I am now running two computers, one with an ASUS A8N-E and the other with an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe. The A8N-E has a VS 1Gig Kit DDR400C2.5 in it and the A8N32-SLI Deluxe has a VS 2Gig Kit DDR400C3. What is the recommended voltage to run these memory sticks at. I have never thought about changing the voltage before(always left the memory in "auto" mode). They will not be overclocked now but maybe in the future. My friends recommended 2.7v for Corsair but I wanted to check with the pros first. Thanks in advance, hawk87 P.S. Can someone give me some good timings to run this memory at. They are currently running at 2.5-2-2-5-7 at 2T as listed by CPU-Z.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 10, 2007 I would suggest 2.7 Volts and just dont go over 2.9 Volts you should be fine!
hawk87
Thanks for the response. I will try 2.7 on each. (Just found out that "Auto" sets the voltage at 2.5v so hopefully this will make the RAM perform better.)

hawk87
Hey, those settings worked great for the 2Gig kit it actually increased my bandwidth in SiSoft! (dont have exact numbers because I spilt soda on it :brick: ) But no performance difference in the 1Gig kit I think the chipset on the other board is not as "advanced" as this one. Anyways thanks for the help!!
