poisoned
Hi, I've Problems with my TWINX2048-3200C2 and the Asus A8V-E Deluxe. When I'm playing Games like BF2142 they are crashing with a Memory Error. I've tested the DIMM's with memtest in Single Channel Mode - no Errors. In Dual Chanel Mode they are performing Errors. I've tested them in various combinations with 2-3-3-6 @ 2,7 - 2.8V 2,5-3-3-6 @ 2,7 - 2,8V 2,5-3-3-8 @ 2,7 - 2,8V In DIMM Slot A1+B1 A2+B2. Always Errors... My current BIOS vers. 1012 TWINX2048-3200C2 (2 x XMS3202 v.1.2) Do you have ideas what i can do? P.S.: Sorry for my bad English :P

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2007 I am sorry I have never heard of that make of PSU, but the problems you have described might suggest a power problem, can you maybe barrow another PSU from a friend and test them again? Or test them in another system to be sure?
poisoned
mh.... ok i will test it with a more powerfully than that 480W PSU.

poisoned
Ok. I've asked the Asus Support and they told me that these DIMM's are not supported in Dual Channel Mode. Only in Single Channel Mode. But on the compability Site of Corsair the TWINX2048-3200C2 are compatible. I assumed that these DIMM's are working in Dual Channel. :sigh!:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 9, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 9, 2007 Thats just not right, if the modules will run one up but not in DC mode that would suggest a problem with the MB or Bios. We can try replacing the modules if you like but these modules are tested in a Dual channel MB before they leave our factory!
poisoned
Sorry, i meant that this MB (Asus A8V-E Delxue) not support these DIMM's in DC. I think it's easier/cheaper for me you tell me a MB where i can use this DIMM's in DC, as to buy DIMM's for my MB.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 10, 2007 These modules will run fine in D/C with that MB, try them in slots A2 and B2 and load setup defaults and set the memory voltage to 2.75 Volts! Also please Disable legacy USB and test with http://www.memtest.org to be sure its stable.
