Hairy
When I purchased the Intel DG965RY motherboard in September of 2006, the Corsair memory Configurator listed the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 as compatible memory. Subsequently I purchased the memory and the board and every thing seems to be working ok. Now, however, I notice that the memory configurator does not list any of the Twin2X products to be compatible with this board. My question is, should I change out the memory to something listed as compatible change it to one of the listed products.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2007 If the system is stable I would not worry about it. But these modules are not listed for this MB because the Intel I965 based chipset MB's have not been adding support to change the memory voltage in the bios. If you dont have that option you can run the modules at Cas 5-5-5-15.
