BTW and reboot in 3Dgames at CL2 MSI K8Neo2 Platinum

hello, sorry for bad english i´m from germany

 

i have problems to work with my cmx1024-3200C2 at cl2 on FSB200 on my new system with nforce3 250 chipset

my system is not tuned

 

in games i have BTW with memory problems or reboots at CL2

with CL2,5 the system have no problems

 

i have work the ram with 2-3-3-6 and 2,7V @ 200Mhz

 

on my old system with nforce2 ultra 400 chipset the ram work fine at FSB 196 CL2 , more FSB i can´t testing between the old system had a sempron 3000+ cpu(Multi 12, FSB166 locked) , @ FSB200 the system was not stabil but i don`t know was that the cpu or the ram

 

in the cell menu from the award bios i have many more options for the ram, have i forget numbers to set

on 2,5CL the system works nice,

 

now i have set the chipset timings to aggressiv, with this options the ram have very good timings in cl2.5 > the differenz to cl2 is very small

 

i had think that with the new chipsets this cl2 problem was fixed?

Yes, but there seems to still be issues at the 2CL level. It is always advisable to first test with Memtest on any newly created system. I advise to test at that level before moving on to other testing. I also think that your PSU is suspect for longevity and stability.

my psu is named with 380W , the Tagan 380 U01 have more power as 380W it was tested with 3,3V 30,8A ; 5V 36,8A ; 12V 37,1A ,

the 2gb corsair ram now ok ,

 

the mainboard don´t work fine @ CL2/200 it´s terrible:(:

the bios have not enough points for the ram , i can´t test ram-fsb 195 or 203

this work manuel with 100,133,166,200,216,233,250 MHz

i have tested with CL2,5@216 it works fine

 

but everest 2.20 have no normal results @ 216(dualchanel pc1700 3,4Gb >< normal dualchanel pc3200 6,4GB) , i don´t know its a problem of everest or from the chipset, i must test a new version from everest
