MiniSD Dead?

I just purchased a Corsair 2GB MiniSD for my Nokia E70. I installed the card into my phone. A folder structure was created on the card that is similar to the phone's internal memory folder structure. But now, I can't write to the card on the phone. I continuously get an error when I try to execute any command that writes to the card.

When I use the SD adapter and plug the card into my HP nc6320 laptop, the explorer opens and there is an additional "System" folder with some sub folders below. I can't write any files to the card. If I try to format the card from DOS, I get an "Error in IOCTL call."

Is the card defective? or can I do something to get it working????

Thanks,

Paul

Please try to format the drive from a command prompt with this syntax:

Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager)

If you still have problems we can get it or them replaced, please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
