ev0luti0nzer0
Bought it a few months ago, and few days ago it suddenly started giving me blue screens of death  so i downloaded memtest and found that this stick was the problem. I have two sticks of ram, one 512 and one 1gb (the problem). Tested both seperately and the 1gb had lots of errors.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2006 You cannot mix these modules in the same system if its dual channel! Can you tell me our modules part# of both modules? (How To Read the Memory Label) and the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 15, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 15, 2007 In many cases if the module are not matched the Bios will not be able to read the memory properly and may not post with a memory SPD mis match error or in some cases it may way underslock the memory to get it to post! But its never a good Idea to mix memory with any system for best performance.
