DerekT
I don't think that you will be able to use these four sticks. I would test by inserting the two 4300's in Dimm 1 and Dimm 3. Enter the BIOS and set your DRAM to 533Mhz. Set your timngs to 5 - 5 - 5 - 15 and test for boot. Then install the two 5400's in Dimm 2 and Dimm 4. Test for boot. DerekT
Not really. The problem is that you have a set of DDR2 533 and a set of DDR2 667. Now to use them both, you usually have to drop a speed lower than the lowest set. You can't do that because your 533 is already the lowest for that board. If you had 2 sets of 667, then you could drop your speed to 533 and very likely this would work but with one set of 533's and no 400Mhz to drop then it can become problematic. You are in a tough area with 4 X 1024 and those non-identical sticks. You can try to insert the DDR2 533 in Dimm 1 and Dimm 3. Then the DDR2 667 in Dimm 2 and Dimm 4 and retest. ch3style
It doesn't work too :( I had test to overclock 533's to 667 and add 667's but it the same result. I had passed 667's to 533 and add 533's same result :(
DerekT
It's not an easy thing to mix and match with 4GB. Windows XP 32Bit doesn't see the entire 4GB anyway and usually only sees about 3GB so you probably are better off using 2GB in your system. http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49816 And that's when it works. DerekT
Have you set the Command rate to 2T? EDIT: My mistake. Your board automatically sets to 2T so you are fine there.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2006 The PSU you have listed is only 380 Watts, is that what you are using? If so I would suggest 500 Watt minimum for the configuration you have listed and have you tested each of the module sets at their tested settings?
