Caine9 Posted December 25, 2006 Share Posted December 25, 2006 Hi, I'am planning to buy a gigabyte ga-965p-ds3 mainboard with TWIN2X2048-6400C4 memory. I heard there are some issues with the ds3 and memory that requires 1.9v or higher, wich have been solved with the F4 bios. And i don't know what bios version i will get. So i wanted to ask if the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 are able to post with this mainboard at 1.8v, to enter the bios and increase the vdimm to 1.9v. I read somewhere that the TWIN2X2048-6400 (CL5) will work with any bios on this board, but i'am not sure about the ones with CL4.
