EVGA 680i SLI + TWIN2X2048-6400C4 no go?

Hi, my 680i wont even go POST with my two 6400C4's. It works fine with my friends 5400. But even if I set the timings to 4-4-4-12-T2 and volt to 2.1 It just does not want to go in to POST. They worked at some point, then they just stopped going further then that nice pip noise and C1 error. And I cant borrow my friends 5400 anymore.

Any advice that might help?

Well I didnt think about that when I was over there right now. And since its x-mas today in Norway since its 1:44 in the morning of 24th (Happy x-mas btw!), I cant really go back there. They where running fine at 5-5-5-18 and at their rated specc of 4-4-4-12

His specs are:

C2D E6600

Asus P5B

ATi RX1900XT

Corsair Twin2x 5400

Well, my mobo likes other ram, Its just that my 6400 wont boot with bot in, and if I get one to boot I cant switch it around in the different slots, while I tested all the slots with some other ram and it worked perfectly running them so I might just send these back and get me some Kingston ones tbh. Too bad I wont be able to use my system before in like a week. Ah well
