Blazer88
The TWIN2X2048-6400C4D should work with BFG's 680i SLI MoBo correct? I'm getting a C1 error on power up. I have tried swtiching the slots they are in already and it didn't do anything. If they are compatible, are they just not working or...? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 19, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 19, 2006 Yes these modules should run great in that MB in fact we use this MB to test some of our other modules. I would suggest testing the modules one at a time and please try and reset the bios and see if the system will post and let you update to the latest bios! Blazer88
Ok. I will try one at a time because that was something I have not yet tried. I have to actually been into the bios as of the writting because stops the startup process in its tracks.
Blazer88
Ok so your suggestion worked,....partly. So thank you for that. The first module I tried didn't work in any slots, the second module however worked on the first try. So this at least clears up the issue on wether it is the ram or something with the MoBo. I will have RMA the set I guess since one does not work.
Blazer88
Where are the serial numbers on these modules? There is no number above the barcode that begins with multiple zeroes?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2006 You dont need the SN# if its not listed on the lable! Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them or it.
