I replaced the prior memory that was bad, but now I am wondering if the memory frequency is correct.

 

When I run CPU-Z or other utilities, I get the result that the memory is running at 389 or 400 Mhz. Can this be correct?? I thought this memory was to run at 800 mhz.

 

I guess I could be mistaken and maybe each stick runs at 400mhz, and with them both together they make the 800 mhz.

 

Any ideas please let me know.

 

I have the timings correct I think.

You are correct. The DDR rate is 2 X giving you ~800Mhz.

 

Check your CPU-z memory tab. Look to your ratio. What does it say?
