urgent rebate issue, and upgrade concern

Recommended Posts

I bought a TWIN2X2048-6400C4D on http://www.Newegg.com on November 24 2006 and the product page had a link to a $40 rebate good for purchases on Newegg during the week of November 20-24 (Not sure if exact dates but around that time). The RAM was delivered to me on Nov. 29 but I have been too busy to fill out the rebate until today.

When I went back to the Newegg page I discovered that the rebate form I need has been replaced by a new one for sales made during Dec. 6-13 (again, not sure of exact dates but close enough). Without that form I have essentially lost $40. Newegg directs any customers with rebate questions to contact the product manufacturer, so here I am. Due to the rebate condition of being postmarked within 21 days of the purchase, I must mail this tomorrow or my claim will be invalid. Surely

you guys keep a record of rebates offered, and could provide me a copy of the form?

My second concern involves the offer to upgrade from 6400C4D to 8500C5D. Since I built my computer for gaming and overclocking I fully intend to take the offer, but if I take the rebate on the 6400C4D (removing the UPC) will I still be eligible for the upgrade? Or will my 6400C4D's not be accepted without the original UPC?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145168 for reference here is a link to Newegg's product page for the 6400C4D 2x1gig pair that i got.

Thank you very much for the awesome support Corsair, you guys are the only RAM manufacturers that I use and recommend, keep up the good work!

You would need to contact whom ever is listed for the contact for that as its out side of company policy and or Tech support policy as we do not offer upgrades to any one at any time officially! Sorry! I have no information on that!

Or you can contact our customer service and see if they can help you with these questions 888-222-4346 Ext "0" or by email at customerservice@corsairmemory.com
