jlschwab Posted December 13, 2006 Share Posted December 13, 2006 I am getting the following chip and motherboard: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA775 ASUS P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 975X I am seriously thinking about ordering the following ram to accommodate the above motherboard and chip: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) [Model #TWIN2X2048-6400C4PRO] Has any one ran this specific ram with the E6600? How did it go? Etc? Also, has anyone ran this exact same setup? Any thoughts or comments? RAMGUY: Will this ram work in my motherboard? According to my motherboard's manual (pdf copy) the same model #'s are listed under the recommended memory vendors, so I think i'm good.
