emeisner Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 I'm building a new PC and have come to the conclusion that I have a bad Memory Module. I bought some Corsair TWINX 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz (2x1024) memory modules. The problems started on 1st boot and have continued since. I'm getting random reboots, sometimes no video after post on boot, and random BSOD. I have tried inserting one memory module at a time and found that 1 module will boot into XP fine with no problems, however when I stick the other module in by itself the problems start to happen again. I also ran MemTest on each module, the first module runs fine, however again, the second module freezes on the 1st test at about 10% each time i tried testing it. This confirms to me that the one module is bad. I have requested a RMA from you with ticket support express case number #34443.
