drummermalti
Hi Guys, Glad to be back in the forum... Listen, I am looking at the prospect of ugrading my system so that it could be Vista ready... and I am particulary interested in upgrading my RAM. When I bought my 1st Corsair memory, I had a small problem which was tackled out beautifully on this forum, being http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46610 My question now is here... Since the answer to the problem was not to mix different modules, do I have to purchase exactly the same module (VS512MB400) to upgrade? Or is there a list of compatible modules to this, so that I may use the VS512MB400 and the future new ones? Btw,... I am not exactly sure if I have got the VS512MB400 or VS512MB400C3 installed! How do I recognise the difference between them? Thanks, Chris
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 12, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 12, 2006 You would need to match the modules you have now! the exact same part#. However, for best performance I would consider just replacing your modules with one set of VS2GBKit400C3!
