karai pantsu
I'm sitting on a stick of XMS3200 DDR, CMX512-3200C2. It failed pretty much every test in Memtest86 at least once, and tests 1 and 5 every time across the entire range of addresses. I once ran up a total of 700 errors in one cycle of tests. It came as a two pack from Newegg. Two 512 sticks of RAM. The other module still works fine and produces no errors in Memtest86, nor any foul ups in Windows, but when this is the only module in the slot, Windows won't boot at all, or will get past the log in screen only to Blue Screen with a memory addressing error. karai pantsu
Heh. I only caught errors in tests 1 and 5. The other ones went thru with minimal errors. It was weird.
