I have 2 512mb sticks of XMS4000 CMX512-4000PT memory. I was running this memory fine for about a year or so... but then all of a sudden, the machine wuold just crash randomly. I've now got 2 256mb sticks of some old ram (not sure what kind) in there, and machine is running stable. What can I do about this? (I hear I have a lifetime warranty on Corsair Memory)

Sure thing... I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for... but here's what I THINK you're looking for...

FSB Bus Frequency 200

LDT/FSB Frequency Ratio Auto

LDT Bus Transfer Width Down16 Up16

CPU/FSB Frequency Ratio Auto

PCI-eXpress Frequency 100 Mhz

K8 Cool 'n Quiet DIsable

CPU VID Control Auto

CPU VID Special Control Auto

LDT Voltage Control 1.20V

Chip Set Voltage Control 1.50V

DRAM Voltage Control 2.70V

DRAM +0.03V If It's Not 3.2V Disable

Let me know if you need any other info.... pretty much I'm running the "Optimized Defaults" right now, without any changes or overclocking. I have also not changed anything for over a year.
