Gorganzola
Hi jbolivar, Which CPU are you using? Which BIOS revision are you currently running? Have you any other memory you could try? Are you manually setting the timings in the BIOS or are you allowing them to AUTO detect?
jbolivar
Hi Gorganzola, I'm using a Intel Core2 Duo (E6400) on a Intel Desktop Board D946GZIS, and I have two Corsair DDR2 1GB Memory ta 533 (VS1GB533D2), I set the memory at 533 4-4-4-12 2T by hand (the voltage can be changed from 1.8v), the motherboard have the last Intel bios for it (TS94610J.86A), the problem is that I don't have any more memory to try... :(: I try to check the memory nominal voltage at the Corsair web site, but I can find this specific information. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 6, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 6, 2006 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
