2GB MicroSD Card is non-functional

Sigh... I received my 2GB MicroSD card that I was planning on using in my BlackBerry Pearl a few days ago. Initially it was recognized by the phone so I enabled Mass File Transfer and started to migrate over a bunch of music to the phone. After about 10 minutes of transfering music it stopped with a whole bunch of errors about not being able to move files.

At that point the phone no longer recognized that it had any card installed. I did the usual, shut down/restart, pull battery/restart, remove card/pull batter/restart, etc. to no avail. I also popped it into its SD adapter and tried it on 2 different machines and a new laptop that was in the office. Unfortunately none of them registered that there was a card plugged in at all. So I can't try to reformat the card either.
