firedawg24
I recently purchased RAM in the form of Brand CORSAIR Series XMS2 Model TWIN2X1024-6400C4 Type 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM I think I bought the wrong type as the ram listed on ASUS website says to get this type Corsair cm2x1024-6400c4 so can anyone tell me if it is compatible? Thanks for all the help Dave C
Yellowbeard
It's the exact same memory but ASUS used the single DIMM part number. The TwinX portion means that you have purchased 2 of the single DIMMs that have been hand tested in a MOBO to certify that they will operate at spec in a dual channel MOBO. You got the right stuff :sunglasse
