Kelxin please start another thread since 1066MHZ is another isssue, but no way this mobo will run the ddr frequency at 1066MHZ. As for 4 modules installed, I do not no of any users that have been able to run stable at 800MHZ.

If it is Asus, what motherboard will run 4 of these modules together and be stable at 800 Mhz???? ASUS P5B Deluxe or Premium

Please view the specs for the P5N32 SLI: Dual-channel DDR2 800(OC) /667/533

DDR-2 800(OC). Which means Asus does not guarantee 800MHZ natively and needs to be OC to reach 800MHZ.

- Nevermind ... Scratch that ... a friend that works over for M ush Kin helped me with your memory. Will say I'm rather dissapointed in the corsair tech support, but not in their product any more. It's just kinda sad that a different company had to instruct me how to use your product. To those that want 4 GB's at 800 MHZ Dual Channel at 5-5-5-12 timings on the P5N32-SLI DELUXE ... IT IS POSSIBLE! (Ran Memtest86 for 3 hours stable, and am running RightMark Memory Stability test while writing this and has been running for 3 hours) 6 Hours stable, I'd say its working perfect.

It is possible but VERY few of those MOBOs will do it. But, good thing you got a good board and found the solution!

Yes, yes... Chipset and memory controller... Thats why they would advertise the motherboard as supporting 16GBs??? Or why they would advertise up to 1066 Mhz memory? But of course its all Asus's fault it wont do both together right? You know its kind of funny, Ballistix (By ******** Memory) makes PC2-6400 Dimms that are proportedly supported in dual channel at 800 mhz with 4 GB's of ram on this motherboard. http://www.********.com/ballistix/store/PartSpecs.asp?imodule=BL2KIT12864AL804&cat=

Now why isn't Corsair capable of that again? Chipset and memory controller? Or is that just pointing a finger?

If it is Asus, what motherboard will run 4 of these modules together and be stable at 800 Mhz????

Or would I be better off going to EVGA's nForce 680i SLI 775 Mainboard?

More likely, fingers should be pointed at both NVIDIA (or whichever company that makes the memory controller for the nForce 590 chipset) for claiming such lofty memory capacity specs, and the memory manufacturers (not brands) for falling behind the memory controller makers in terms of the largest modules currently being manufactured at a reasonably low cost. (The memory makers are capable of producing 2GB unbuffered non-ECC DIMM's, but at a relatively astronomical monetary cost -- after all, who wants to pay $500 or more for a single 2GB unbuffered non-ECC DIMM?) In addition, the claimed 16GB memory capacity of that Asus P5N32 motherboard is just that -- maximum, even if the maximum usable speed with 16GB can be as slow as DDR2-533. With only four DIMM slots, 2GB unbuffered DIMM's (not to be confused with TWIN2X2048 kits, which are actually two matched 1GB DIMM's), let alone 4GB unbuffered DIMM's, are still rare. The nForce 590 memory controller does not support registered memory -- but all 4GB DIMM's that are currently in existence are registered.
