2fast
System runs great, timings 4-4-4-12 2t 2.1v. But no matter what i do ntune will show a yellow square next to the memory's status, meaning unstable so to speak. I've tried voltages 1.9 thru 2.1 and the default timings the MB applies to memory in auto mode 5-5-5. Nothing seems to get me the green sqaure i want, so that im not stressed out knowing that there might be a issue. Even having SLI enabled or disabled does not change anything, tried memtest from windows running 2 of them each testing a gig of ram came back no errors, have yet to run the memtest86 from boot. Any suggestions would be great! As computer has never faulted in games & etc, software glitch with ntune:confused:
CandyKid
Go ahead and run Memtest86+ from a disk when you boot the computer. Let it run for two full passes and see if any errors crop up. If not, then it's an nTune issue or perhaps the BIOS isn't reading something correctly, but it would seem that it's just a glitch either way. If you do get errors, then we need to do a little more work! PLUR CK

Guess i will take a screenshot of ntune and paint the square green with paint :D: :D: I've seen other peeps with the same setup and they never mention having this problem maybe they didnt use ntune i guess, comes with MB so i installed it. 2fast
1 last question, Is there another windows based monitoring program that will show the status of memory - stable or unstable so i could cross reference/check to compare to the ntune one. HITNRUNXX
I have come across numerous posts that have said not to use ntune, but to manually change everything. From what I understand it is buggy... Just hoping to set your mind at ease a bit...
