myRAMbroke
I have 2 sticks of 1Gb Corsair XMS DDR40 pc3200 CL2 RAM. I tested each of them one at a time today with memTest. One stick ran for an hour with no errors, but stick had 250+ errors after about two minutes. memTest says that good RAM should run for weeks without errors, so this one stick has major problems. I filled out the form to request an RMA but this particular model of RAM doesn't have the serial number on it, so I submitted the form without the serial number, will I be able to get this bad stick replaced? I bought it from Newegg about 1 year ago, but I didn't keep the cut up plastic with the barcode on it. Am I out of luck? will I have to buy a new one? This bad stick was causing some problems, programs were closing with memery errors left and right. Please let me know if I need to give any more information. ty
