hello. im new to this forum and would like some help :o:

i bought 1 gig of ram in a bundle pack, 2 512mb ram sticks

one of them isn't working correctly and i want to send it back to corsair for a possible exchange/repair. do i need to include the second stick that is functioning?

It will depend on the modules part# and the make and model of MB you have. But for best performance I would suggest getting them replaced as a set! Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! And please note that you are from the forum!

just to make sure, i tested out the "bad" ram stick by taking out the good one and sticking in the bad one

windows doesnt boot up and it gives me a message saying:

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

is this fixable?
