meyamokevin Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 hello. im new to this forum and would like some help :o: i bought 1 gig of ram in a bundle pack, 2 512mb ram sticks one of them isn't working correctly and i want to send it back to corsair for a possible exchange/repair. do i need to include the second stick that is functioning? But for best performance I would suggest getting them replaced as a set! Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! And please note that you are from the forum! meyamokevin Posted December 9, 2006 Author Share Posted December 9, 2006 just to make sure, i tested out the "bad" ram stick by taking out the good one and sticking in the bad one windows doesnt boot up and it gives me a message saying: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM is this fixable?
