BigH501
Hello, I have TWINX1024-3200C2PRO that is failing in my computer. I purchased the RAM from ZipZoomFly last year. It has been rarely very intermittently causing system crashes. They were so rare (about once every 2-3 weeks) that I could not pin them to any component in my system. Recently my system has begun to fail far more often (two to 3 times a night) I loaded IE7 and it would crash every 2-10 minutes. I then swapped this RAM out of this computer into a second computer. With other RAM this computer now runs with no crashes at all (about 4 weeks) and other computer now crashes regularly.(about every 15 to 20 min or so) I ran MemTest 386 V3.2 on the system and got numerous failures in 2 of the 12 tests it runs. The rest of the tests had no failures at all. What do I need to do to get and RMA to get the RAM replaced ? Thank you Harold

BigH501
OK got my RMA, returned my RAM, got RAM back in mail, and now I am wondering if they sent me back the same faulty RAM... Is that possible ? Loaded into computer, booted up and started crashing immediatly. Checked memory settings in CMOS and confirmed they were the recomended settings, ran MEMTest v3.1 and getting lots of errors. I still need to pull the RAM and swap back to my other PC and re-run tests to cover all bases. :(:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2006 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
