compwiz, mostly
Due to various reasons I have been unable to send off my flash drive yet however i ab about to do so now ( I got the RMA aproval a bit over 2 weeks ago) and i was wondering two things about it. 1. Does the RMA number expire and if so when does it. 2. Do i need to send off the entire package and extra stuff that i got with my drive (CD, USB cable, lanyard etc) away with my flash drive or just my flash drive? thanks for your help compwizmostly
Wired
1. I think it's around 1 month, but you can just email whomever sent you the RMA number saying you need a new one, and give them the old one, and they'll issue a new one. 2. Just the actual flash drive. Nope USB definatly USB2.0 the motherboad is only about a year old and i chacked the box again and it says 2.0 and the USB drive works at proper speed with everything else
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 18, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 18, 2006 Then lets get it replaced!
compwiz, mostly
I decided I'll probably not bother sending it off because it will cost about £5 postage and it's possible that there isn't even anything wrong with it. If you have any way that I can test the speed accurately and reliably. Thanks Compwiz, mostly
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2006 Yes HD Tach will give a benchmark. I would try and format the drive with the following syntax and see if that helps as well. Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager)
