alfatec
Hi, I have a gigabyte GA7NNXP and have been running 1GB Corsair CMX512-3200LL memory in dual channel, which has been working fine. I have recently purchased another 1GB of Corsair memory but this is the CMX512-3200C2PT. Now I can run my system with either sets of memory but not together. Is there a compatability issue with the 2 sets. I know the LL is T1 and the C2PT is T2 but I did not think there would be an issue. Many thanks for your help. Wired
If by T1 and T2 you mean the command rate, they're both T1 (really 1T). 3200LL is NOT compatible with 3200C2, it's never recommended to mix part #s.
alfatec
So which is the better memory, the 3200LL or the 3200C2-PT
Wired
LL: 2-3-2-6 C2: 2-3-3-6 Technically the LL, but they haven't been made in a long time. C2s are still being made, although DDR1's at its end of production cycle.
