zeg
Hi there, i have new 2Gbs of TWINX2048-3500LLPRO (v1.3) for my Asus P4C800e-deluxe (last bios available) with a Pentium 4 (3,0 GHz). Memory-SPD is 2-3-2-6@200MHz and they work with these timings at this speed without any problems. But when raising the FSB up to 216/217MHZ (DDR433, PC3500) i can only boot with 2-4-4-6. Is this normal? Why do i not get the faster promised timings at FSB 216/217? Even changing the VDIMM to 2.75V did not help. Is this a problem of my new memory (RMA?) or is it a problem of my motherboard? Well i did not raised the VDIMM up to 2.85V yet - maybe this could solve the prob?? Any ideas? greetings -zeg
zeg
addon: i am quite happy with these TWINX-modules (i did not run the memtest until now) but i want to know if the 2-3-2-6 timings are only for the AMD A8N32-SLI mobos and 2-4-4-6 is the fastet i can get with my Canterwood-board (at 217MHz) ??? -z.
