tedward
Hi, I have a chance to buy pairs of TWIN2X1024A-5400UL, (which are 2 x 512mb kits). I'd really like to have a total of 2gb. Will 4 of these perform well in a 975x motherboard? (AW9D-Max or Intel 975BX2) Not sure if I should jump on these or buy a 2x1GB kit of something else.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 20, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 20, 2006 Yes they should be OK but with 4 modules you might have to relax the settings!

RJLeong65
Those particular 512MB 5400UL modules (CM2X512A-5400UL) are single-sided -- they were available only in this configuration. However, with even four single-sided modules, you might not be able to run those modules at 3-3-2-8; you might have to use 3-3-3-9 or 3-4-4-11 instead of the tested 3-3-2-8.
