robbyn
Initially I bought a p5b from asus. It was faulty and I am having trouble returning it to my dealer. I have therefore bought the Asus P5VDC-x, a cheaper board as a replacement. I would like to use the memory from the P5B in the P5VDC. Is that possible as it is not in your list of appropriate memory for the board? Robin
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 14, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 14, 2006 Yes it should be as long as you can set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts you should be fine!
robbyn
I tried the memory in the new board and only one module works without problems. The computer seizes up with the other one installed, and MEMtest86+ shows a number of errors. If I use the other module the machine is stable. Can you agree to a replacement of just the faulty modules because I can not use the machine without memory and I need it for business.
