Bad stick of Memory?

I built my new system and all went well.

MB ABIT AW9D-MAX

HD 74G|WD 10K 16M SATA

MEM 1Gx2|CORSAIR TWIN2X2048-6400

Video VGA EVGA GF7950GX2 01G-P2-N592-AX

CPU INTEL|C2D E6400 2.13G 775 2M

When I added the two new sticks of memory (1Gx2|CORSAIR TWIN2X2048-6400) my system started to blue screen when windows started up and then just keeps rebooting. Going through the troubleshooting steps I found that with one stick installed (The good stick) the system worked. So I switched the sticks and the blue screens came back. So I assumed that I had a bad stick of memory. So I need to return this one stick for a replacement please.

What's missing from my thread? I cant seem to get anyone to reply...?

You are simply being impatient. You have to give people more than 5 hours to respond! In addition, Corsair is closed on the weekends, so they will simply not even see your post for another 20 hours or so.

Do you have 2 or 4 sticks?

Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
