NCCCCN
I just bought a set of CM2XP1024-6400C4 and a set of CM2X1024-6400C4PRO. I install the XP module (2) on yellow slot and pro module on black (2). When these module are install together, i have errors message with MEMTEST-86 v3.2. When install individually..... the 2 XP module will work on both slot and same for PRO. These two modules are different, one with module led display and other with LED only, but have the same latency..4-4-4-12. Question.... Are they compatible together? Do i have to do something in the BIOS ? Info: motherboard .....P5N32-SLI PREMIUM Thanks for your help
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 15, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 15, 2006 The MB you have I would suggest 667 MHz memory and with 4 modules you may have to run the memory 533 Mhz because of loading on the memory controller! And I would never suggest mixing memory with any system for best performance!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 16, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 16, 2006 Just load setup defaults and then set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the memory frequency at 333/667Mhz should be all you need to do! NCCCCN
Hey Ram Guy... There an update on this case.... With the info i received from you, configure my memory bios to eighter 667 or 533 with wattage of 2.1..... it does not work with 4 Go. Works fine with 2 Go. Thats weird. Why work with 2 Go and not 4Go. Thanks for your help.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 21, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 21, 2006 If you want to over clock 2 modules max is best, and if you are using WinXP32 Bit version it will not see all 4.0 Gig of memory. But if you use 64Bit version of Windows then 4 Gig might be the best choice even its running at a slower speed.
