Hi,

I have CORSAIR TWINX1024-3200XL 2X64X64 400MHZ 2X512MB (MATCHED PAIR) 2-2-2-5 DDR DIMM W/HEAT SPREADER that has been working perfectly for the past few yrs but just died on me.

The system will post but will get BSOD trying to boot windows. I removed all hard drives and tried to boot a knoppix or DSL Linux cd both failed. I ran mem test off the DSL disk and found 10's of thousands of errors in just a few seconds.

I shutdown and removed one of the memory modules and tried again, memtest returns no errors and windows now boots normally.

MB is abit AN7 bios is updated.

PS is THERMALTAKE W0014 SILENT PUREPOWER 480W

Vid card ASUS V9280-S2 SUPERFAST/TVD GEFORCE4 128MB

Memory settings are by spd and match factory, system is not overclocked.

ram voltage is at bios default.

Should I try overvolting the ram?

I will test each module separately and in each memory slot to confirm that it is not a MB problem.

Anything else I need to do to get an RMA#?

Thank you
