hajj
Hi, I currently have installed a pair of RAM from the Value Select line (a pair of PC3200 512mb sticks). I am now in need of more RAM for my graphic intensive and multi-tasking needs. At the moment, I have my eyes set on a pair of PC3200 1gb sticks from XMS line, however, I am unsure whether the different models are compatible with one another and if they're not, what are my options. Do I ditch the VS ram and replace it with the XMS brand? And if that's the case, is an extra 1gb of ram substantial enough to lessen load times as opposed to an extra 2gb? I would be grateful if anyone can help me with my dilemma. And I would like to apologize in advance if a similar thread was posted elsewhere on the forums. Thank you. :):
