4x4n
I have a 2x512 set of XMS 3500 C2. These have been running great for a long time. Now, one stick errors even at stock settings. I know these are not made any more, but is it possible to rma them for something equivalent? Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 9, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 9, 2006 Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
4x4n
DFI Ultra-d Opteron 170 10x260 with 166 divider for memory 2-2-2-6 @ 2.8v I think spd timings are 2-3-2-6, but with the bad stick in, it will not boot even at those settings. 10x200, completely stock settings, which is underclocking the ram, the one stick will not make it through one pass of memtest. These have been a great set for me, but now one stick is bad. Please let me know what my options for rma are. Thanks.
