Bad Ram Module

Jamers

Recommended Posts

Hi Ram Guy,

I appear to have one bad stick in my CM2X1024-5400C4 set. Just purchased all new components and installed into new Abit AW9D-Max board with latest BIOS. It wouldn't post. Tried posting on just one stick at a time to test memory modules. One stick will boot while the other won't. Just to be safe ensured memory voltage was at 1.9 v and timing at 4-4-4-12. CPU was at default 266x9 (E6600) speed and memory ratio at 1:1. Still no post with the one suspect memory module.

Please advise.

  • 3 weeks later...

RamGuy,

I completed the RMA request and later received an e-mail on 11-13 stating my RMA was approved and a RMA # would following in another e-mail within 24 hours.

Since I did not receive the RMA # with the stated time period I sent an e-mail to warranty@corsairmemory.com on 11-16 and another on 11-21. I've also lefted 2 voice mail messages. Still no response. I'm starting to feel neglected.

Can you please assist? CASE # 17104
