ZX MAD Posted November 7, 2006 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Hello guys Have just built a new machine, specs not the best but im not a gamer mobo asus A8N32SLI Deluxe AMD 3200 64 bit CPU Corsair CMX512-4000PRO x2 Asus EN7600GT PCIE graphics card Maxtor 300gb Sata2 HDD The problem ive got is i cant get windows xp sp2 to load on the machine, it gets ahlf way through then blue screens could this be due to incompatible memory? i was told by the shop owner it will be fine but looking at thw QVL the fastest supported memory is the 3500LL ive spent the last day trying to work out what the probem is .. any help would be greatly appreciated John Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yellowbeard Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I'm not familiar with that brand but, in a system like yours, you need a very high quality PSU. Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the PC4000, and then test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org!
