Hi,

i am not sure if this a memory issue...

Booting my pc, the BIOS memory test takes about 3 minutes. Windows works fine.

My config:

MB: Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 (Bios Rev. F6)

RAM: Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 (Rev. 2.1)

The bios is set to optimized defaults.

Are there kown issues concerning this configuration?

I also have this motherboardboard and memory and when my system boots it says the memory is running at single channel. Is this a memory problem or a problem with the motherboard. I purchased this ram based on the Corsair recommendation on the website but I noticed this info when I looked at the Motherboard specifications on NewEgg.com

"Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets."

If this info is correct then why does Corsair recommend memory with 4-4-4 timing?
