Wired
What model HP do you have? Are you attempting to use the HP memory with the Corsair Value Select at the same time?
davidvaughn
It's a Pavillion a614n. I removed the original memory and installed the upgrade kit about 6 weeks ago. On Friday of last week the machine would not boot Window XP Home. Saying that HAL.DLL was missing or corrupt. Booting to a memtest86 CD reveled alot of memory errors coming from one of the pieces. I replaced the set and the machine is back up and running. David Vaughn
