MB is ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe w WIFI, CPU is AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ AM2 Socket. Video XFX Geforce 7950 GT Xtreme. Plextor 755SA. Seagate 750 GB SATA HDD. Nero HE 550 Watt PSU. Heat will not be an issue with the Antec 900 case. NVIDA Dual TV MCE PVR. Auzentech HDA Digital 7.1 DTS Sound card. Building an HTPC. I think I got out my wallet prior to the calculator(reading Toms Hardware article (http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/05/23/amd_reinvents_itself/page9.html) It look as though I should have bought the 4600+ or 3800+ CPU for the memory I plan to use. Stick on backorder are the TWIN2X2048-6400C4D Dominators. They look like they will work with my set up but at a lower clock speed 733 intead of 800. Should I swap out the CPU to bring up the clock speed to 800 and avoid compatablity issues? This is my first build and I want things to work out.
