Yellowbeard
You are aware that the Flash Voyager comes with an encryption program included aren't you? Linky: http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/flash_memory.html#fv
drawliner
yes im aware that voyager has an encryption program but threw the studying up on this topic i have also learned that in order for the encryption to work on the corsair voyager 8gb that version must be downloaded on the host computer and that is strictly forbidden because i would not have administer privileges on that computer and that is a sad lilttle quirk voyager has in an otherwise brilliant and highly rated memory stick
Yellowbeard
Ah, you explained that in your first post. If you can do that encryption without needing admin access, that is a very good find. Thanks for the link, you may be the bane of admins everywhere soon. Mike.

Wired
Missed this in the original post, but DoD, as in Department of Defense? If so, I wouldn't even waste my time trying to get around their security measures. It's probably illegal as well.
