V F
Hi, I'm trying to nail down whether its a timing issue with the BIOS27 or if the Abit NF7-S V2.0 motherboard is not capable of running these sticks at CAS2.0 My original problem from the old thread was getting it to run stable. http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53425 I can't find anyone running this memory and motherboard combo to find out for sure if it can run the default stock 2.0-3-2-6 latencies. I'm currently running which is the only way I can get windows to not blue screen: Memory Timings [Expert] = Manual Row-active delay RAS-to-CAS delay Row-precharge delay CAS Latency Time[2.5] With DDR SDRAM Voltage 2.8v If I put it to CAS2.0, blue screen right away more or less. I have been running Windows MemTest for the past 4 hours now and has only picked up 1 error. Some people have said nForce2 boards are extremely picky with 1GB sticks. I was wondering if any experts can clarify if its just a board problem or a memory problem. Somebody had mentioned on nforcershq.com that setting the Row-active delay to 10 or 11 works better for nForce2. Can you please advise. Thanks. As I'm dreading the likes of an RMA from the UK to the States.
