Sakaris
ok so maybe someone here will be able to help. in my desktop computer i have 2 sticks of corsair CMX512-3200C2PT RAM.. well had anyway. basicly whats happened is that i went to turn on my computer one day and it went into a continous loop of restarting and rebooting. so i played around with some bits and bobs and asked a few people i know about the problem and they suggested taking out some of the RAM. anyway, i took out one stick and no change was seen. swapped round the sticks and the thing booted up perfectly. so after trying various combinations i've found that if this one stick of ram in slotted in the computer just reboots continuously. due to this i have taken it out and wondering what to do. is it duff? is it me being an idiot and overlooking something basic? any help is greatly accepted. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 27, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 27, 2006 Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? And have you test the modules one at a time?
