Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 26, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 26, 2006 Errors in test 5.6,7 or 8 would suggest some other problem! Can you tell me our modules part# (How To Read the Memory Label) and the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
dnnguyen
Sigh, this process is taking longer than expected. I did not know that corsair rma process is this difficult. Here is the info you need: XMS5402v4.1 061891-1 MB: Intel D975xbx Process: Core2duo E6800 I bought 4 sticks of your ram. 2 of them are not working. I have 2 of them in my machine now so I know it works with my mb. The others are giving me errors when i swap them out with the good one.
Wired
SO that they can better assist you, please clarify how the process is difficult. Ram Guy responded to your post within 22 minutes (yes, unusually fast, but the same day regardless), and then you responded back 18 days later. FYI there are multiple ways to apply for an RMA from Corsair: I Think I Have a Bad Part. What Do I Do?
